On many eSoft Planner sites, a family has to create an account before they can see a single time or price. The newer version has a short sign-up. Older versions are still in use, and the 3.x sign-up we looked at asked for 28 fields, including a login name, a fax number, a street address and a birthdate. It did not resize for a phone.
Two locations of one Southern California facility we found pay for booking software of this older kind, and tell families on the booking page not to use it and to call instead.
On CageList a parent picks a space, a day and a time and sees the all-in price with no account. They sign in, verify a phone and sign the waiver only at the end, when they pay.
