Host Spotlight: Zac's Turfed Shop Batting Cage in Jones, OK

Zac Cunningham turned a work shop into a batting cage for his boys — and now he's opened it up to hitters across the Jones, Oklahoma area under the name Trust the Process Athletics.

The cage

This is a 30-by-40 turfed shop with a 40-foot pull-out cage measuring 40 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 10 feet high. Because it's indoors, it can be heated and cooled — so it's a true year-round, all-weather space. Zac has it well stocked: a baseball pitching machine, baseballs and softballs, heavy balls and small balls for specialized work, flat gloves, and some extra bats if you need them. It's set up for both baseball and softball, holds groups of up to 10, and runs $35/hour — a lot of climate-controlled cage for the price.

The host
