Host Spotlight: Jonathan's Indoor Batting Cage in Whitetop, VA

Jonathan's Maximum Velocity Training cage in Whitetop is a serious, four-season setup for hitters who want to keep swinging no matter what the mountain weather is doing outside. Up in Virginia's high country, that kind of covered space is worth its weight in gold.
The cage
This is a big one — a covered, indoor cage running a full 70 feet long, 14 feet wide and 14 feet tall, so there's real room overhead and behind you, no ducking or clipping the net. It's genuinely dialed in for both baseball and softball: baseballs and softballs are provided, and there's a baseball pitching machine alongside a fast-pitch softball machine so nobody's left out. Add an L-screen for front toss, a batting tee for isolation work, and bullpen mounds for both baseball and softball pitchers, and you can run a complete practice in one place. There's enough room for infield work too, plus LED lighting so evening sessions don't get cut short, parking, a restroom, and music on site. If you want to put real numbers to your swing, HitTrax is available as an add-on. At $30/hour, it's a lot of cage for the money.
