Host Spotlight: Griffin's Dual Indoor Cages in Alvin, TX

In Alvin, Texas, Griffin built a set of dual indoor cages for his sons' select team — and now opens them up to hitters across the area.

The cage

This is a big covered indoor space: 70 feet long, 19 feet wide, and 12 feet tall, with dual cages that comfortably handle both baseball and softball. It's fully kitted out — a baseball pitching machine plus fastpitch and slowpitch softball machines, an L-screen, a hitting tee, and a baseball bullpen mound. Because it's indoors and covered, it supports year-round practice regardless of the Texas weather, so a rainy afternoon never has to cost you a session. On-site you've got a bathroom, parking, lighting, music, and a seating area for anyone watching the session. Sessions run $40/hour, and with room for a group, it's a strong fit for individual reps or a small team getting their work in.

The host

Griffin keeps it short and telling: "We built these cages for our sons' select team practices. Both sons currently pitch in high school." It's a space built by a baseball family that knows exactly what real practice looks like — and now that same setup is available to hitters and teams nearby.
