Host Spotlight: Brian's Curveball King Cage in Eagle, ID

When Brian's family moved to Eagle from Washington, they noticed something: there were no real cage options in the Eagle/Star area. So they did what baseball families do — they built one. Curveball King is the result, and they opened it up to the whole community.
The cage
This is a covered, year-round setup inside a lighted barn on a private 5-acre property, so privacy is never an issue and the Idaho winter never cancels a session. The cage runs a full 55 feet long, 14 wide and 14 high — real length for tracking a live-speed pitch. The centerpiece is a Hack Attack pitching machine that throws every pitch you'd want, from breaking balls to fastballs clocked at up to 97 mph, so advanced hitters can actually test themselves rather than grooving easy reps. It comes with baseballs, an L-screen, and a hitting tee for warmups and mechanics work, plus LED lighting throughout the barn and restroom access on-site. There's parking right there on the property, and the whole thing goes for $40/hour — a fair price for a fully covered, high-velocity setup that would be hard to find anywhere else in the valley.
The host
Brian describes his family as baseball people who "would love to share our cage as we know there are no options in the Eagle/Star communities." That gap-filling generosity — building the thing your town is missing and then handing over the keys — is exactly what makes a great CageList host.
