Backyard Batting Cage in Los Angeles, CA

In Eagle Rock, Victor Reyes built a fully turfed backyard batting cage in Los Angeles, CA for his own travel-ball family — and now it's open to local teams and anyone chasing extra reps.
The cage
Victor's outdoor cage runs 55 feet long, 12 wide, and 10 tall, and it's genuinely dialed in. The centerpiece is a Junior Hack Attack pitching machine throwing leather-reinforced, Kevlar-stitched baseballs, plus a bucket of baseballs for soft toss. The whole cage is turfed with a batter's deck and a home-plate turf mat, and it comes with a heavy Tanner Tee, an L-screen, and lighting for evening practice. There's a portable pitching mound and a pitching rubber set to 46 feet for bullpen work, plus a tripod with a phone mount so you can film your session. Parking, seating, and music are included. Sessions are $60/hour with three guests included; add-ons extend your time by 30 minutes ($35) or a full hour ($55).
Who it's for
With a real machine, a turfed floor, and space for infield work, this cage suits solo hitters, small groups, and local teams getting extra reps in. The 46-foot pitching setup means pitchers get quality bullpen work alongside the hitting — and the film station makes it easy to review swings on the spot.
The host
Victor says it best: "I'm a father of 3 and train regularly in our batting cage. My son plays travel ball and we have lived in Eagle Rock for 8 years." He built this for his own kids first, and opening it up to other players was a natural next step.
Good to know
Lighting means evening sessions are no problem, and the turfed surface plays clean in any season. House rules are straightforward: no glass, no smoking, no alcohol, no seeds, and no gum.
