About the facility
First Class Prospects is an indoor baseball and softball training facility in Rosemont, Illinois, a few minutes from O'Hare and across I-294 from the Fashion Outlets. The building is all turf: four batting cages (three tunnels and a big flat-ground cage), a dedicated pitching area, a weight room and a film room.
Owners Thomas Catomer and Herb Plucinski run the building and the Rawlings Tigers Northern Illinois travel program out of it. Trainers on staff cover hitting, catching, pitching, fielding, strength and conditioning, and the mental side of the game; most played college ball in the Chicago area.
Book a cage by the hour, a private lesson with a trainer, or a clinic. Teams that practice here regularly can set up a recurring schedule.
