Weather-Related Cancellations
How rain is handled on an uncovered cage
- Uncovered outdoor cage: the guest can cancel a rained-out session for 100% CageList credit
- Covered or indoor cage: weather does not apply, so your standard policy runs instead
- Credit, never cash: the guest keeps the money on CageList and rebooks with it
- You earn nothing for a rained-out session, but nothing is ever clawed back from a payout you have already received
How Refunds Work

Guest Cancels
Guest clicks "Cancel Booking" in their dashboard. CageList automatically calculates refund based on your policy.

Refund Processed
Full refunds go back to the guest's payment method in 5-10 business days. Late cancellations before the session starts receive 50% as CageList credit. You keep any non-refundable portion.

Calendar Opens
Your calendar automatically reopens for that time slot. You can get another booking right away.
Pro Tips
1. State Your Policy Clearly: Mention your cancellation policy in your listing description AND first message to guests.
2. Be Flexible When You Can: If a guest has a genuine emergency and your policy says no, you can cancel the booking from your side instead. That returns 100% to them as CageList credit, so they come back rather than leaving a bad review.
3. You Still Get Paid for a No-Show: A guest who neither shows up nor cancels gets no refund, and the booking completes on schedule and your payout is released 48 hours later as normal. If someone does it twice, decline their next request.
