How to try out

No one can sign you but the league, and tryout dates change every year. This is the order that gets a reply most often.

Match yourself to the right door

Each league picks players differently. Banana Ball workouts are by invitation after an application. Cosmic Baseball takes an online form, then sends invites. The independent leagues run open camps or showcases followed by a draft, and the summer leagues fill rosters through college coaches.

Get your proof together first

One clean video, your stats, and your numbers (pitch velocity, exit velocity, sixty time). Leagues read a short, honest summary faster than a long story.

Find where each league announces dates

Tryout dates change every year, so they are not listed here. Each card above links to the league's own site, which is where camps, showcases and applications are posted first. Read the age and experience rules there before you register.

Pay only the league

A registration fee is fine when it is on the league's own site. Be wary of anyone selling a spot, a roster slot or a contact. No one outside the league decides who gets signed.

Add yourself to the pool for the United States

Leagues, clubs and men's teams can find players through CageList, and we reach out when there's a fit. Adults only (18+) for now.

Next: positions, bats and throws, highlight link, availability, passport countries. Takes about 3 minutes.

Sources

Each league above was checked against its own published page in Oct 2026. Tryout dates, fees and team lists change, so confirm with the league before you plan a trip.
