About the facility
Seattle Baseball Academy runs a 14,000 square foot indoor training facility at 2901 West Commodore Way, near Fishermen's Terminal in Seattle, for players ages 8 to 18. It is the home of City Baseball, the youth club the academy grew out of in 2009, which still fields competitive teams from 8U through 18U.
Inside are multiple indoor hitting cages, dedicated pitching lanes and a full weight room, with TrackMan, Rapsodo, HitTrax and Blast Motion to measure every swing and pitch. Teams, coaches and individual players can rent cage time by the hour.
Programs include private instruction, camps and clinics, Cubs & Bears for ages 6 to 8, a HitTrax Sim League, and the Todd Linden Hitting Group, led by the former big leaguer. Wes Long, a former Oakland A's draft pick who played eight years of professional baseball, is President and Director of Coaching and Instruction, and runs the club's college placement program.
