Guy Mason Recreation Center

Guy Mason Recreation Center is a small Washington, DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) facility at 3600 Calvert Street NW in the Glover Park neighborhood. Its documented outdoor amenities are tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground, and a fenced dog park; some community sources also mention a baseball/softball diamond, but this could not be confirmed against DPR's official facility features. Like all DPR fields and courts, any athletic use is booked through DPR's central permit system rather than at the center itself.

How to reserve

Athletic fields and courts are not booked at the center. Apply through DPR's online permit system at dpr.dc.gov/permits. One-time-use permits are due 30 calendar days before the date of use, and requests submitted within 14 days are automatically denied. Rental rate

Field/court permit fees are set in DPR's published fee schedule and vary by facility and use; non-resident fees are 1.5x the resident rate. Request the current rate through the DPR permit system.
