Renting a Cage
How do I find a batting cage to rent?
You can browse available batting cages by entering your city, zip code, or allowing location services. Use filters to find the perfect cage for your needs.
What should I bring to my rental?
Bring your own bats, balls, helmets, and any other equipment you need. Some hosts may offer equipment — check the listing details to confirm.
What if the cage doesn’t match the description?
If the cage is unsafe, inaccessible, or materially different from the listing, report it to CageList within 24 hours. Our Protection Plan may qualify you for a full refund.
Listing Your Cage
How do I list my batting cage on CageList?
Simply click the + List Your Cage button, create an account, and follow the listing steps. Upload real, clear photos and describe your cage accurately.
What kind of cages can I list?
You can list:
- Backyard cages
- Private facility cages
- Community or school cages (if authorized)
Quality, safe cages only, please!
What happens after I list my cage?
After your listing is submitted, our team will review it. Once approved, it goes live and can start getting bookings!
Payments and Payouts
How does payment work?
Renters pay through CageList at the time of booking. The payment is held securely until the rental is complete.
When do I get paid for my rental?
For new hosts, we may hold payouts for up to 5 days after the rental ends as a security measure to protect both hosts and renters. As you complete more successful rentals, payouts may be processed faster.

Is there a fee to use CageList?
CageList charges a small service fee to renters and a processing fee to hosts per booking. Details are shown at checkout.
Trust, Safety, and Protection
What is the CageList Protection Plan?
Every rental includes the CageList Protection Plan, covering:
- Guaranteed refund if the cage doesn’t match the listing
- Support with finding an alternative cage if needed
A small Protection Fee is added to each booking for this coverage.
How does CageList prevent scams?
All hosts are verified via ID and payment account setup. We manually review listings for authenticity. Suspicious activity is immediately investigated.
What should I do if something goes wrong?
Report any issues to CageList immediately via our Contact Us page or by replying to your booking confirmation email.
