About the league
An all-wood-bat age-specific adult baseball league formed in late 2012 with teams generally from the Wilmington and Jacksonville, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC areas. Affiliated with the Roy Hobbs Baseball organization for insurance, it fields older-age divisions (35+/40+ and up) including Veterans, Masters, Legends and Classics.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across Veterans 35+, Masters 45+, Legends 53+, and older age divisions divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join NC/SC Adult Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Wilmington-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
