About the league
An 18-and-over adult amateur wood-bat baseball league in Asheville, managed under the Western North Carolina Youth Sports Association and operating since 2007. Games are played on weeknights (typically Monday-Wednesday), with a 10-game season plus an end-of-season tournament and a cap of about 12 teams due to field space.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18+ divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Asheville Adult Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Asheville-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
