About the league
An independent adult amateur baseball league for eastern North Carolina, founded in 2016 and using historic Kafer Park in New Bern as its home field. It runs an 18-39 division and a 35+/senior division, with players ranging in age from 18 to 70.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18-39, 35+/senior divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join East Carolina Amateur Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
