At CageList, we are committed to fostering a safe, trustworthy, and enjoyable experience for both batting cage owners and users. Our guidelines are designed to ensure transparency, respect, and quality across the platform. By using CageList, you agree to adhere to the following guidelines:
For Cage Owners
1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations
- You must comply with all local laws, zoning ordinances, HOA rules, and tax regulations at all times.
- CageList acts solely as a communication platform and does not ensure compliance. As a batting cage owner, you are solely responsible for adhering to all applicable laws and rules.
- Any payments processed through CageList must comply with business reporting requirements as mandated by local, state, or federal law.
- If you are required to charge taxes, you must inform users of any applicable taxes and include them in your pricing.
2. Accurate Representation
- Your batting cage listing must honestly and accurately reflect:
- The condition of the facility
- Pricing
- Available equipment and resources
- Any additional services offered
- Misleading claims, inaccurate photos, or dishonest pricing may lead to removal of your listing and potential account suspension.
- Maintain and update your listing with clear, high-quality photos and current information. Regularly replace old or unsafe equipment to provide the best possible experience for users.
- Strive to create an outstanding facility that encourages repeat bookings and positive reviews.
3. Ownership or Authorization
- You may only list batting cages you own or have explicit permission to offer.
- Unauthorized listings will be immediately removed, and accounts associated with such listings may be suspended or removed from the platform.
For Players, Families, Coaches, and Other Cage Users
1. Respect Facility Rules and Agreements
- Always respect the rules, policies, and booking agreements set by the batting cage owner.
- Use the facility only as described in the listing and as agreed upon with the owner.
- Many batting cages are located in private homes; treat the space and equipment with the utmost respect and courtesy.
2. Prohibited Activities
- Do not engage in any illegal or prohibited activity while on batting cage premises.
- Cage owners have the right to report any violations of local laws to the authorities.
Leaving Reviews
1. Build Trust Through Reviews
- Reviews are essential for fostering trust and transparency within the CageList community.
- Take 30–60 seconds to leave a brief, honest review about your experience with the cage rental or cage user.
- Your feedback helps improve the quality of the community and ensures accountability for all users.
For Everyone on CageList
1. Honest and Respectful Communication
- Communicate with honesty, respect, and integrity. Misrepresentation, false claims, or fraudulent activity are not tolerated.
- CageList values trust and safety above all. Deceptive or dishonest behavior will result in immediate action.
2. Appropriate Use of the Platform
- CageList is designed to facilitate:
- Finding and booking local batting cages
- Communicating with cage owners
- Listing private batting cages and services
- Any misuse, such as messages with fraudulent intent or harmful content, will be reviewed and may result in account suspension or legal action.
3. Respect Privacy
- Respect the privacy and personal information of other users and cage owners.
- Maintain professionalism and common courtesy at all times.
- If you encounter issues related to privacy, safety, or security, contact CageList immediately.
