About the league
Municipal adult baseball league run by City of Columbia Parks and Recreation for players 18 and over (or 17 and a high-school graduate). Plays an eight-game Wednesday-night season at Atkins Baseball Center from May through July.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18+ divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join City of Columbia Adult Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Columbia-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
