About the league
Adult wood-bat baseball league operating for over 30 years across Southside Hampton Roads — Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Suffolk, Portsmouth and Hampton. Players range roughly from ages 18 to 45. Games are Sunday doubleheaders (7-inning games) from April through Labor Day.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18+ divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Baseball757 as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Virginia Beach-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
