About the league
Long-running adult amateur baseball league operating across Franklin, Hampshire and Hampden counties in Western Massachusetts, playing since 1929. Roughly six teams compete each season.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Tri-County Baseball League of Western Massachusetts as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Springfield-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
