About the league
Adult amateur wood-bat baseball association founded in 1989-1990 to revive adult baseball in central Massachusetts, expanded to draw teams from the broader region (including Greenfield MA and nearby NH/VT). Affiliated with the National Amateur Baseball Federation. Accepts free-agent signups.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Central New England Baseball Association as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Worcester-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
