About the league
An 18-and-over adult amateur baseball league in New Orleans, affiliated with the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL). The league is comprised of eight teams with players ranging from 18 to 73 years old and has operated for over 28 years under president James Brossette. Games are played on Sundays, roughly May through September.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18-over divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join New Orleans Adult Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: New Orleans-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
