About the league
An independent adult amateur hardball league for players roughly 37-40 and older in the New Orleans metro area, with games centered in Metairie and the St. Charles Parish area. The league runs a regular season plus playoffs, with recent champions crowned in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 40+ (over-40) divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Diamond Dreams Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Metairie-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
