About the league
The Middle Georgia Baseball League is an adult amateur hardball league for men 18 and older in the Macon area, affiliated with the MABL/MSBL since 1998. It offers age divisions from 18 up through the older-age brackets and provides an alternative to softball for adults who grew up playing baseball.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+, 55+ (per MABL/MSBL age structure) divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Middle Georgia Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Macon-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
