About the league
The John Gambs East Metro Baseball League (EMBL) is a non-profit adult amateur baseball league founded in 2003 to serve the east side of metro Atlanta. Most games are played on weeknights at American Legion Field in Conyers.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18+, 30+ divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join The John Gambs East Metro Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Conyers-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
