About the league

The San Diego Adult Baseball League (SDABL), founded in 1986, is one of the largest adult hardball leagues in the country with 150+ teams and over 2,000 players. It offers Recreational (A) and Advanced (AA/AAA) play across 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+ and 55+ divisions, running February through December with games on weekends.

Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+, 55+ (A / AA / AAA skill tiers) divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join San Diego Adult Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.

Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: San Diego-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
