About the league
The Inland Empire Adult Baseball League (IEABL) is a municipal adult hardball league based in Riverside, California, administered by Major League Softball, Inc. through the MuniSports platform on behalf of the City of Riverside. It draws teams from across the Inland Empire region.
Games run on a timed format, with no new inning starting after two hours and fifteen minutes of play. Registration is handled at the team level through Major League Softball rather than by individual sign-up, so players looking to join should connect with an existing team or contact the administrator. Current season dates and fees could not be independently verified from the league's own page.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Inland Empire Adult Baseball League (IEABL) as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Riverside-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
