About the league

Dodgertown West is a Los Angeles-area men's baseball club and MSBL member that traces its origins to 1984, when a small group of players who had attended the Los Angeles Dodgers Adult Baseball Camp began organizing pickup games. It joined the Men's Senior Baseball League around 1987 and has since grown to more than 130 registered players across five to six teams.

The club plays year-round across two seasons — Spring (January to June) and Fall (July to December) — and its teams also enter MSBL tournaments and World Series events. Players must be at least 30 years old; prior attendance at an adult "Fantasy Camp" is preferred but not required.

Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Dodgertown West as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.

Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Los Angeles-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
