Baseball has been my life since I was nine years old.
I've played at every level: Little League, travel ball, high school, college and professional ball, in independent leagues across the United States, Mexico, the Czech Republic and Canada, plus a club season in Australia.
Frontier League All-Star and championship series MVP in 2007, a no-hitter in 2008, four championships, and one of two players in history to play pro ball after a total hip replacement, the other was Bo Jackson.
In 2024 I was pitching coach for the Savannah Bananas' Party Animals.
I coach hitting, pitching, infield, catching and baseball IQ, 8U through varsity. High standards, simple language, relentless positivity: my players know why they are doing what they are doing, so it holds up when I am not standing next to them.
Homeschool families: I coach Monday through Friday during the day at Swing Kingz. Tap Message to reach me directly if you have any further questions or you can book lessons directly based on my listed availability.
Let’s get after it!
I founded MADE Baseball and have taught private lessons full time for 15 years, more than 25,000 of them, most with players aged 8 to 13.
7+ years of professional baseball experience as a left-handed pitcher and still playing to this day at 41 years old in local men’s leagues
Every extra player adds 40% of the solo rate. The total is split evenly.

Domination day…ready to go pitch here in Orlando at Boombah Complex… this is my very first test of cross posting and Instagram from CageList. The game is about to change all around the country, champions! #MARKMYWORDS

New on CageList: Share to Instagram. Post a training photo to your CageLog once, then send it to your Instagram Story or feed in two taps. Your caption comes with it, and your CageList link is ready for a Story link sticker. Why we built it: coaches and players were posting the same session twice, once here and once on Instagram. Now it is one post. If a photo shows your kid, nothing leaves CageList until you turn on sharing in their player profile.

CageList 2.0 went live on July 2. Three months in, here is what is on it: 3,835 places to train, 213 backyard cages you can book by the hour, 1,623 teams and leagues, and 549 guides on building and running a cage. 1,123 players, parents and coaches have signed up so far. Built one feature at a time, one cage at a time. Got a cage in your backyard? List it. Looking for one? It is probably closer than you think.

Youth baseball is a staffed commercial operation now. Whatever you think about that, parents deserve to see clearly what they're paying for.

Every lesson ends the same way. Look them in the eye, shake their hand. Push-ups are free and so is that.

Hands. Most of the lessons I give come back to where the hands start. Cheapest fix in hitting and nobody wants to hear it.

This is what cage time actually looks like. Waiting your turn, watching the guy ahead of you, getting your work in. That hour is the whole product.

Free-agent board is live for men's leagues. Put your name up, say what you throw and where you play, and let a team find you.
