About the league
Green Mountain Baseball League is an adult men's 18-and-over hardball league in the Burlington, Vermont area using Major League Baseball rules. Its 2025 season fielded seven teams including the Burlington Brewers, South Burlington Expos, Williston Wolfpack, Champlain Mariners, Franklin County Bandits, Browns River Diamondbacks, and Vermont Black Sox. Players may also compete in NABF tournaments.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 18+ divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
