About the league
Northern New Jersey's largest over-35 adult baseball league, with all games played within a 30-minute drive of Bergen County. Offers competitive Sunday-morning divisions plus a weeknight division and a 55+ division. Guaranteed 17-game schedule, May through October.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 35+ (pitchers 39+), 35+ weeknight, 55+ divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Play at The Plate New Jersey as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Bergen County-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
