About the league
The Big Island member league of the Hawaii State AJA Baseball Association, an adult amateur hardball association founded in 1908. Based in Hilo and playing at Dr. Francis Wong Stadium, it hosted the 88th Annual Hawaii State AJA Championship on April 5-6, 2025.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Hawaii AJA Memorial Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Hilo-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
