About the league
The Fairbanks Adult Amateur Baseball League (FAABL) is a men's wood-bat hardball league in Fairbanks, Alaska, playing 9-inning games on 90-foot bases under the midnight sun. All skill levels are welcome, from former college players to those returning to the game. The league has kept adult baseball alive in Interior Alaska since the 1970s.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across Eight teams (Spruce, Fuegos, 49ers, Angels, Pirates, Icemen, Misfits, Wild) divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Fairbanks Adult Amateur Baseball League as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Fairbanks-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
