About the league
A men's 35-and-over baseball league in the Birmingham metro area, affiliated with the Men's Senior Baseball League (MSBL). It fields nine teams with roughly 200 players and runs a late-May to mid-August season capped by an elimination tournament.
Like most men's leagues, it plays real hardball across 35+ divisions, with wood or BBCOR bats, umpired games and a full season schedule. It is the kind of competitive baseball that's hard to find once high school and college ball are behind you. Rosters usually mix former high school and college players with guys returning to the game after years away, so there's typically a division that fits your level. New players can usually join Central Alabama Baseball Association as a free agent or enter a full team; reach out through the league before the season sets its rosters. This is a free, unclaimed CageList directory listing; the league runs its own schedule, rosters, and registration.
Between games, keep your swing and glove sharp: Birmingham-area players can book batting cages and find training facilities and open fields to practice at nearby.
